KATHMANDU: In the highly anticipated film Kaminey, one will surely feel lost if one does not concentrate on the unfolding of the story because the happenings in the movie become hard to grasp. You will get confused at the beginning itself but things gradually fall into a place as the movie moves on. Kaminey has a good theme but some twists (about twin brothers and confusions to distinguish between them) are really hard to decode.

The movie is about a pair of twins — Charley and Guddu (Shahid Kapoor). Charley

lisps while Guddu stammers and they are also different in many other respects. Guddu is as soft as cheese and in love with Sweety (Priyanka Chopra), while Charley is just the opposite. Charley’s dreams are flashy and he is head

over heels into the money-thing. He believes in the ‘shortcut way’ to earn money but as he follows this of his, he has to struggle with difficult circumstances.

The entire movie revolves around money and the problems the twins get mixed up with because of it. Guns, gangsters, drugs and money in which Charley and Guddu get stuck up are all featured very well. The movie witnesses seen faces but executes

something new. The setting of the movie matches the story outline

and your heart surely beats with the rhythm of the

music, especially Dhan te nan.

Shahid Kapoor has performed brilliantly and handles both characters — Guddu and Charley — with aplomb. Priyanka is also not bad as she is so immersed in her character as ‘Sweety’.

The movie is definitely worth a watch.
