LONDON: Oscar nominated actor Mickey Rourke’s career is back on track. He has been signed up for the next Rambo film.

Director Sylvester Stallone asked Rourke to be in the next Rambo film after meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, thesun.co.uk reports.

A source said: “It was weird seeing two tough guys sipping tea on the veranda. They chatted about the Oscars, then Syl begged Mickey to sign for Rambo V. Mickey.” The movie will be shot this year. — HNS

Murphy waives fee to star in Pryor bipic LONDON: Actor Eddie Murphy has waived off his $25 million feel to star as Richard Pryor in a new biopic.

Writer Bill Condon, who directed the 2006 Dreamgirls, is reportedly involved in the project, thesun.co.uk reports.

Pryor, an African American comedian, had an illustrious acting career but got addicted to drugs before dying of heart attack in 2005. He poured rum and set himself on fire in 1980.-HNS
