Actress Scarlett Johansson has confirmed that she is using the free time in between movie shoots to record an album. According to contactmusic.com, Johansson sang in the movie Lost in Translation with her co-star Bill Murray in a karaoke scene. The actress, who is a big fan of singer-songwriter Waits, has now signed a deal to make her first record titled Scarlett sings Tom waits. She is eager to do justice to the music and is taking as much time as possible to get it just right. She said: “It’s coming along. There is no rush to get it out there. We’re taking our time — doing a week here and week there. I just love his music.” —
