For those who wish to study in the UK, this might be a good opportunity for you. The Worldwide Nepalese Students Organisation Nepal (WNSO-Nepal) is providing 100 per cent scholarships to four deserving candidates for the September intake to ICON College of Technology and Management, UK.

The WNSO was formed by students studying in UK in the year 2000 in the UK itself and WNSO-Nepal was formed as a network of WNSO in 2006, and now has its network in 20 different countries. Since its inception it has been continually working for the betterment of education of Nepali students in foreign countries and Nepal. Last year they started a scholarship programme under which three Nepali students are currently studying in ICON College. This year they are offering four scholarships.

The scholarships are being provided for the following subjects —

• Higher National Diploma in Business (2 years)

• Higher National Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (2 years)

• Higher National Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management (2 years)

• Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies, DMS (1 year)

For Higher National Diploma, students should have completed their +2 level and for DMS one should have completed Bachelor’s level of education. Besides educational certificates, students involvement in extra-curricular and social activities will be considered. The last date for submitting applications is July 15.
