Events at AVM:

On December 29, the principal of AVM called for a special assembly with the students of classes six to 10 where the students handed over Rs 15,000 to the mother of a child who has a hole in his heart. AVM’s annual science exhibition was held on the school premises in which the students of class six to 10 participated. The aim of the exhibition was to develop the practicability in the study of science. The experiments were divided into three streams — biology, physics and chemistry. The judgment was made in accordance with the items, explanations, presentations, demonstrations and the capability of tackling the questions asked. The annual academic prize distribution ceremony was also held at AVM in which the top five students from classes

one to 10 were awarded. The five stars of AVM — Paurakh, Smriti, Neema, Kritu, and Bisheh were also felicitated. The chief guest of the event was Gajendra Lal Pradhan, director of education. The programme was followed up by a cultural performance along with the display of handicrafts, paintings and sketches made by the students. — Anugya Sapkota, AVM High School
