SCHOOL TIMES : Trip to Muktinath

Our class 12 students with few teachers decided to trek to the most beautiful highland spot having great religious value, popularly called Muktinath temple.

Our journey started from Beni Bazaar and excitement was to be found in everyone’s face. We marched ahead looking at the idyllic view, thick forest, bridges, waterfalls, and the famous hot spring — Tatopani. Nestled in the lap of enchanting mountains was the most beautiful waterfall namely ‘Rubse Chaga’ which made us forget our pains of climbing the long stairs and hills.

After crossing Dhampu, Kebang, Tukche, Marpha, Syang, Jomsom and Kaligandaki River we finally reached Kagbeni (near Mu-ktinath) on the fifth day of our trek. On the next day, we finally reached Muktinath temple and paid our homage to the god.

The days of our tour were spent having fun and cracking jokes, enjoying the scenery and the image of the delightful sunrise. I had the best of times with all my friends and teachers.
