Search is on; competition stiffens

Samsung Nepali Tara — the biggest talent hunt in the country so far — is on in full swing. Of 206 participants in the coming three weeks 40 participants will be selected for another round of contest.

A Studio 4 presentation, Samsung Nepali Tara is judged by Deepak Jungam, Bimala Rai and Alok Shree. Those who make to the top 10 will have an opportunity to sing in an album composed by musician Alok Shree. The 10 selected till date are: Durga Kharel, Bhavin Dhungana, Lalkaji Shrestha, Rupak Dotel, Ramesh Pokhrel, Sanjib Parajuli, Srijan Lagun, Dharmendra Sewan, Janaki Kafle and Indira Joshi. The show is aired on Nepal Television every Saturday at 7:30 pm.
