Kumar Shrestha’s books Lonely Hearts and East Meets West were launched at a function by cultural expert and litterateur Satya Mohan Joshi on November 13. Prominent people from the literary world like Shankar Prasad Koirala, Secretary, Information and Communications, Prof DB Bhandari and Diamond SJB Rana were present at the function.

Dr Khagendra Luitel and Dr Govinda Raj Bhattarai elaborated on the books — a collection of short stories in English, and talked about the beauty and simplicity with which they have been written. They congratulated the writer for coming out with such good books in his first effort. The books are published by Lonely Hearts Publications.
