Come March 27 and be a part of a mega event ‘Sangitik Itihaas 2060 — Malai Santi Chahiyeko Chha’ at BICC, New Baneshwor. The show is organised by Siddhartha Art Gallery, World Peace Propagation Forum(WPPF), Ournepal.com and Infinity International in aid of creating a Children’s Park. Malta International manages the event and the official media is The Himalayan Times.
The organisers share, “One of our long term goals is to establish a park for the children and we want to raise awareness about this. We hope this musical event would be a milestone for both music and peace in Nepal.”
The event highlights the top artists of Nepal — Deepak Bajracharya, 1974 AD, Karma Band, Aastha Band, Nirwan Music Link, Karna Das, Sunil Bardewa, Raman Shrestha, Lochan Rijal, SurSudha/Anil Shahi, Nalina Chitrakar and Bijay Lama/Manoj Singh.
1974 AD mentioned that the two numbers they will be singing would be from their new album ‘Pinjara Ko Suga’ which is due release in April.
There will be 12 new songs based on peace and the album featuring the songs will be released on the day. The album is named ‘Shanti Ko Sapana — Songs for Peace by the Children of Nepal’. Siddhartha Art Gallery has tied up with the WPPF, Infinity International, House of Entertainment and Samjhana Audio Video to launch the album. Karna Das stated, “I am very happy to be part of this event and to sing a song of a little girl.”
Nalina Chitrakar will be singing Manisha KC’s. Manisha is studying in Greenland International School and she said, “Seeing the present situation of the country I wrote the song. I am happy that Nalina Chitrakar will be singing my song.”
