LONDON: Superstar Tom Cruise confessed that he was “wrong” in slamming his actress friend Brooke Shields as well as others seeking treatment and medication for depression.

Crusie had made news in 2006 when he slammed medication and psychiatry. He now regrets making those comments and personally apologised, reports contactmusic.com. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, he said, “It came out wrong, it’s just not true. I was raised by

four women who have children and babies.

I’m not trying or want to tell anyone how to live their life or what they should believe or shouldn’t believe.”

Cruise claimed he was ‘pressed’ by the media those days and he regrets saying a lot of things. He added, “I felt like I could’ve handled it better.”
