Spears' ex ghalib to face felony assault hearing

LOS ANGELES: Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend is to stand trial for felony assault.

A Los Angeles judge has ruled there's enough evidence against Adnan Ghalib, who allegedly ran over a process server trying to hand the photographer legal papers, to prosecute him.

Ghalib will stand trial for felony assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit and run.

At a preliminary hearing on Thursday (09Jul09) the alleged victim, Ram Moskowitz, testified the snapper struck him with a car, according to TMZ.com.

Ghalib faces seven years behind bars if he's found guilty. He'll be arraigned on 23 July (09).
