Guitars are recognised as one of the primary instruments in blues, country, rock and in many forms of pop music. A guitar is a musical instrument with ancient roots that is used in a wide variety of musical styles.

Guitars can be played acoustically where the sound is produced by the vibration of strings, or electrically in which the guitar is connected to an amplifier to boost the sound.

The guitar is an essential part of all modern bands. Even though some people put guitars in the ‘noise makers’ category, those who have learnt to play it or have appreciated its sound, believe it to be one of the greatest inventions in the history of music.
