Mitchell College was opened at New London in the year 1938 as a private, non-profit, co-educational, two-year college,

but has since then grown over the years. With its excellent combination of programmes in the liberal arts

and the professions, their programmes reflect the college’s strong commitment to teaching and learning keeping in mind the value of the individual student, preparing students for a rewarding personal and professional life.

Scholarships

Mitchell College offers limited number of academic and leadership merit-based scholarships for international students who have outstanding academic ability and possess leadership qualities.

Residence life

You can live with a small group of students in one of four restored historic homes at Waterfront Community — Fairhaven, Moorings and Harbor House. Or join a larger group in one of their three traditional residence halls on the upper campus residence halls — Saunders Residence Hall, Matteson Residence Hall, Simpson Residence Hall.
