Weather experts say this year will be a scorcher for two reasons — greenhouse gasses and El Nino. We are releasing more gasses like carbon dioxide, which trap heat in the atmosphere, making temperatures soar. El Nino is caused by warmer than usual water in the Pacific Ocean, and causes unusually hot weather. Experts say one is already forming. The year 1998 was the hottest year ever for the whole year.
