An unusual-looking cat is becoming something of a local celebrity at the vet hospital where he lives in America. Ugly the cat has thick, flowing fur on his chest, but the rest of him is bald, giving him a very unusual appearance. Staff at the vets say most people can’t believe their eyes when they see Ugly for the first time, but insist he’s got a real inner beauty. His owner, Dr Stephen Bassett, was given the cat by one of his clients and says Ugly is very happy there.
