Twin Nepali films aim to feature in Guinness World Records
KATHMANDU: Two Nepali movies, to be filmed in one shot, would be sent to the Guinness World Records for their position as the movies made in one shot.
Musicians Araj Keshav and Mohit Munal informed that their productions – Jalo and Jalo Returns – would be sent for the world record as it would be the first time the two movies would be made in one shot.
After completing the preparations, both the movies would be filmed in the single shot of total four hours, according to the duo.
No scene would be shot twice.
Total 50 actors would act in the movies, to be written and directed by Keshav.
Speaking at the function, Chairman of the Film Development Board, Raj Kumar Rai, said such initiatives would attract new investors to the Nepali film industry.
The shooting would begin in September-October whereas the producers have aimed to release them by mid-March next year.
However, a process has already begun to apply for the Guinness World Records, according to its producer Munal.
