Upset Joan Collins says youngsters lack civility

London: Joan Collins, the former star of the hit TV show ‘Dynasty,’ has written derisively of the state of civility among today’s young after her experience at a ball. Collins was attending a black-tie ball in London when according to her “a six-foot-tall, middle-aged, horse-faced male pushed past me, trod on the hem of my dress and rushed outside to climb into the taxi that the doorman had waiting for us”. She said she blames this on the “the awful, pervasive disregard that we have for civility today”. She concluded by asking, “Why do young people consider it cool to be arrogant, swaggering and rude? Why do so many people in England seem so cynical and self-centred?”
