Visit to the zoo

Last Saturday, I visited the Jawalakhel zoo with my parents. There I saw many animals like the Gharial (crocodile), spotted deer, black buck, barking deer, white-naped crane, striped hyena, one-horned rhinoceros, hippopotamus, lion-tailed macaw, panther, tiger, common leopard, elephant, bear, swamp deer, Assamese monkey, wild water buffalo, among others.

At the Lord Harisankar temple you can buy souvenirs like a bag, tee-shirt, mug or cap. We also went for a boat ride at the zoo.

There are zoo codes of conduct that we must follow at the zoo. These are — do not feed the animals, do not litter, do not disturb, torment or joke with the animals.

I also saw many birds and snakes, and there were many fishes in the aquarium. There were also many animal skeletons.

I was very happy when I was at the zoo.
