Miss Nepal 2005 Sugarika KC today is busy with her weekly television show and working full time as a business development director. Being more of a family person, she prefers spending

her weekends with them.

Everyone in my family works, so we rarely get time to sit down and talk. Weekends, therefore, are totally about family. We spend quality time together talking about week and sharing things.

On Fridays, I do go out with friends but it’s more a private affair. I am not a very party person and I don’t like crowds. So even I go to such places, I stay for 10-15 minutes, say hi and leave. I like staying with my family more.

Perhaps many people don’t know this, but I just love cooking. I watch all the cookery shows and surf the net for new recipes and prepare them for the whole family. Though I am a vegetarian, I sometimes cook non-veg items as well. Basically I like cooking items with potatoes and experiment a lot.

I also like watching movies and usually go for Hollywood blockbusters. Due to the busy schedule, I have not been able to enjoy movies lately. I recently watched was Castaway.

If we go out for dinner I prefer all the places in Pulchowk as I live in Patan, but if I want to spend some time walking around, then Durbar Marg and Thamel are the best.

My best vacation must be the time I went for the Miss World pageant. Girls from 150 countries

had a blast. With no guys around and all girls, it was a fun of its own. I also celebrated by birthday there which was one of the most memorable ones so far.
