Weekends for me is all about partying with my friends. We usually go pub hopping around the town. From Tantra to J-Bar, Liquid Lounge to Latino Quarters, the nightlife is interesting. So Friday night is all about partying till the wee hours.

I get up late on Saturday morning (it cuold be afternoon too) and eat a delicious meal prepared by my mother. I usually stay home with my family and laze around.

Sometimes I go hiking around the Valley with friends, but it has been quite a while since we have gone for a hike. If I have any free time in the near future, I would like to go for one with a bunch of my friends.

My most memorable weekend was the Mahashivaratri of this year at the first international open-air MahaShivaratri trance music festival held at Aadshewor Mahadev.

We started partying from Friday night (February 16). It was raining and really cold, but we danced all night long. I was feeling tired on Saturday morning, but the sun got me into positive vibe. So, instead of sleeping I danced all Saturday, looking down at the Valley from the top of the hill.

DJ Sanuk from Switzerland took over the consoles with crunchy, quirky tracks guiding space ships of the imagination, opening up options and portals. I chose the light shimmering and subtly falling on fluorescent mandalas of gods and demi-gods, all dancing like nobody is watching. — As told to Abhilasha Subba
