LONDON: Singer George Michael says he will always be in love with Christmas because the festive season helped him through his troubled childhood. He admits his parents were always ‘busy’ and ‘stressed’ during his younger years and he spent his time feeling low, reports contactmusic.com.

“I have always loved Christmas because when I was young, my parents used to work so hard and they always seemed quite stressed. But at Christmas everyone would calm down and be nice to each other and that used to make me feel very safe,” said Michael.
