LONDON: British singer Amy Winehouse landed herself with a £25,000 bill after borrowing designer frocks and returning them splattered with vomit, reports mirror.co.uk.

“Harvey Nichols loaned Amy 25k’s pound worth of silk and satin dresses. While wearing one, she went on an all-night bender. She ended up in the loos, where she was violently sick,” said an insider, who added, “She couriered them but didn’t wrap them separately. So it had got on all clothes. Even worse, green, furry mould had developed on some gowns, making them unwearable.”

Ironically, a dress Winehouse wore during her Grammy-winning performance was auctioned off for charity, raising £2,000.
