KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 7
The weather is likely to remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country will see mainly fair to partly cloudy conditions today. The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted that light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur at isolated locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, the partly cloudy conditions will persist in the hilly areas, with mostly fair weather in other parts of the country. The country continues to be influenced by westerly and local winds, contributing to these weather patterns.
As the seasons shift, temperature is gradually dipping across the country. According to observations made by the MFD at 8:45 am today, Jumla recorded the lowest temperature at 2.6°C. In contrast, Bhairahawa and Janakpur recorded minimum temperatures of 20°C.
Meanwhile, Kathmandu's minimum temperature was reported at 12°C. On Wednesday, the capital recorded a maximum temperature of 25.5°C, while Janakpur reached a high of 36.2°C.
