Travel & Lifesyle

Always keeping in mind the passion for food, The Café at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu tends to indulge in their food menu and bring pleasant surprises. This time they have introduced almost 30 original dishes with a savoury fusion of their own

  1. Prawn 65

Its origins date back to the 60’s, when chicken 65, a deep fried South Indian starter gained popularity. The prawn 65 is a burst of flavour on your taste buds.

  1. Walnut apple spiced cake

A variety of desserts are laid out but none will catch your fancy like the walnut apple spiced cake. The dry cake is garnished on top with sliced apples; the rich mixture of apple and walnut filling has its own distinct aroma. Topped with ice cream and strawberry compote, it is a heavenly delight.

  1. Sizzling Himalayan trout

The Sizzling Himalayan trout is as tender and aromatic as it sounds, if not better. The rich gravy and garnishing is a significant part of the dish; the mashed potatoes, vegetables and its presentation makes it one dish you must not miss.

  1. Grilled rustic chicken

The herb-tossed chicken with roasted potatoes and vegetables has a fine taste you can’t resist. The grilled rustic chicken is a succulent main course dish that sizzles its way in, grabbing eye balls.

  1. Greek salad

Pieces of tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, feta cheese and olives typically seasoned with salt, oregano and dressed with olive oil, the Greek salad does not disappoint. It is light and refreshing, ideal to start your hearty meal.
