KATHMANDU: A woman died and two other seriously injured in a bus accident at Khadka Village of Purano Naikapa in Kathmandu district on Tuesday morning.

According to DSP Hem Thapa of Kalimati Police Office, the bus (BA 1 PA 343) heading towards Nawalparasi from the area got into accident after unable to control balance due to brake fail.

The bus was ferrying people for wedding ceremony.

The identification of the deceased one is yet ascertained informed police.

Police further said, the  seriously injured people are receiving treatment at Kalanki-based Sahid Memorial Hospital.
