BHAKTAPUR: One died and two others were injured in a motorbike accident at Suryabinayak of Bhaktapur on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Yubaraj Shrestha (28) of Chorthe-9 of Nuwakot district.

According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur, the incident occurred after the two-wheeler (Ba 24 Pa 4994) skidded of the road and fell into a canal at around 3 am today.

The injured have been identified as Anil Rai (20) and Biraj Gurung (21).

They were riding pillion when the incident occurred.

Both of them are receiving treatment at the Bhaktapur Hospital.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
