KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested 14 persons red-handed on the charge of illegal gambling from a restaurant in Battisputali of KMC-9.

Police arrested Gopal KC (52) of Lamjung and 13 others from the Organic Chulo Restaurant yesterday.

Police also confiscated Rs 1,155,840 cash and 16 Cowrie shells from the site.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
