14 held for operating illegal networking business

KATHMANDU: As many as fourteen persons allegedly involved in operating an illegal networking business via their company have been arrested from New Baneshwor, KMC-10 on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, a sleuth of Central Investigation Bureau arrested the suspects from a Siddhartha Foodland pvt while running a close training session for members.

CIB identified the arrestees as Prakriti Budathoki (25) of Ilam district, Sweta Basnet (28), Shreejana Singh (26), Ankita Shrestha (29), Om Gurung (22), Bishan Gurung (29),  Sujit Manandhar (30), Sumit Manandhar (30), Pramesh Manandhar (32) of Kathmandu, Bikal Shrestha (25) of Palpa district, Kshychit Paudel (29) of Bhaktapur, Naresh Malla (30) of Lamjung district, Sumit Shrestha (30) of Banke district, Kiran Joshi (33) of Kailali district, Saurav Goyanka (29) of Parsa district.

Meanwhile, police have filed a forgery case against the suspects.

Earlier, the government had banned the operation of networking business in Nepal.
