LALITPUR: As many as 15 families are at high risk of displacement in Lalitpur district due to landslides triggered by incessant rainfall.

The families have been facing a hard time due to recurring landslides in Bhattedanda-9, Kalche of Lalitpur, said local Bishnu Prasad Timilsina.

It has been learned that the families of Bishnu Prasad Ghimire, Arjun Ghimire, Ram Sharan Sapkota and others of the area are at high risk of displacement.

The landslides have caused cracks  in around 100 bighas of land owned by local people.

Vehicular movement has also been obstructed due to the landslides.
