KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Headquarters has promoted 17 deputy superintendents of police to the post of superintendents of police.

According to the NP, they were promoted on the recommendation of Promotion Committee on Friday.

Those promoted are Raj Kumar Baidwar, Janak Rak Pandeya, Mukesh Kumar Singh, Hridaya Thapa, Yagya Binod Pokharel, Surendra Prasad Mainali, Gorakh Singh Bhandari, Krishnahari Sharma Pokharel, Ashok Singh, Chakra Bahadur Singh, Sudam Kumar Sikapati, Bhola Bahadur Rawal, Dilli Raj Bista, Kamal Prasad Kharel, Pramod Kumar Kharel, Ramesh Thapa and Sudip Rajbhandari.
