KATHMANDU: A 17 year-old boy died after falling off the door of a moving bus (Ba 2 Kha 6984), in Koteshwor, KMC-35 on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Shrijan Dhakal of Madhaypur Thimi, Bhaktapur.

Dhakal was a 12th grader at the GEMS College in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur, police said.

According to police, seriously injured Dhakal breathed his last while receiving treatment at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
