KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two men for black marketing of fuel from a restaurant in Mhepi of Kathmandu on Thursday.

Jaya Ram Bhagan (34) and Om Prakash Sah (45) were arrested for selling the fuel products at higher rate than the market price, said police. Both of the arrestees are permanent residents of Inaruwa-6 of Sunsari district.

A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Lainchaur, had arrested the two with petrol, while they were selling the fuel for Rs 350 per litre from Derang Chhapachaur Gulmi Taru Guest and Restaurant, Mhepi, yesterday.

Police said further investigation into the matter is underway.
