KATHMANDU: Two police constable of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kandaghari were injured after a man attacked them with a broken window glass and a knife on Tuesday.

Drunken stupor Akash Basnet (26) of Manohara-13 of Kageshwori attacked the police constable duo while they tried to arrest him for assaulting wife.

Police said that they have started a manhunt to nab the absconding culprit.
