KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons for selling petroleum products at a higher price than its marked price.

The suspects have been identified as Rajesh Bharati (45) of Kun Chowk VDC-4, Sindhupalchok and Yosada Bajagain (27) of Tusal, Kavre.

A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Crime Division nabbed Bharati from a gas depot (Rara and Enterprises) at Akasedhara of Kapan, Budhanilkantha Municipality-15 with the cooking gas on Monday and Bajagain was apprehended from Ugrachandi Store at Gorkha Manakamana Fruit and Vegetable market in Kalanki with diesel, petrol and kerosene on Sunday.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
