KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested two girls in possession of pharmaceutical drugs.

The suspects have been identified as Sabita Lama (17) and Sabina Thapa (17) of Barshamadi, Makwanpur and currently residing at Pepsicola of Kathmandu.

Police said that they confiscated 300 pieces each of Diazepam and Phenargone tablets from their possession.

A police team deployed from the Metroplitan Police Circle Maharajgunj nabbed the duo from Sukedhara of KMC-4.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
