KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons with possession of a live pangolin on Wednesday.

The suspects have been identified as Gyan Bahadur Moktan (48) of Gokule-4, Kavre and currently residing at Nala Tukucha of Kavre and Anil Moktan (22) of Kyaneshwor-3 of Sindhuli and currently living at Banepa of Kavre.

A police team deployed from the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police nabbed them from Tathali area of Nagarkot Municipality-3, Bhaktapur.

Police said that the duo along with the pangolin has been handed over to the District Forest Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur for investigation.
