2 injured as car hits bike in Basundhara
KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured when car hit a motorbike they were riding on at Basundhara in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Biker Ambar Thapa (39) of Tokha, Kathmandu and a woman, who appeared to be in her mid 20s, were injured in the incident.
Police said that the woman was riding pillion when the incident took place.
The car (Ba 8 Cha 7997) hit the bike (Ba 46 Pa 2040) at around 2: 30 am.
Both the injured were taken to the Basundhara-based BP Hospital and were later referred to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for further treatment.
The woman, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, is in critical condition.
Police have impounded both the vehicles and arrested the car driver for further investigation.
