LALITPUR: Two persons were injured when a jeep hit a scooter they were riding on at Gwarko in Lalitpur on Thursday.

The injured have been identified as scooter rider Darban Gurung (30) of Lamjung, currently living at Sinamangal and pillion rider Dev Gurung (45) of Nagarkot, currently residing at Gwarko.

Police said that the jeep (BA 1 Kha 4610) hit the two-wheeler (Ba 41 Pa 3950) at around 11:45 pm yesterday.

Both the injured are being treated at the B&B Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded both the vehicles and arrested the jeep driver for investigation.
