2 killed as tipper hits bike at Dhobighat
KATHMANDU: Two persons were killed after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a tipper at Dhobighat in Lalitpur district on Friday.
Police identified the victims as motorcyclist Dev Singh Malla Thakuri (22) of Piple, Myagdi district, and 23-year-old Shristi Shrestha, who was on the pillion ride.
Thakuri and Shrestha breathed their last on their way to hospital, police said.
According to police, the tipper was 'On Test'. It hit the bike at Nayabato Chok close to the Ring Road.
Police said they are looking into the case.
