KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in a khukuri attack.

The suspects have been identified as Sawan Thapa (16) and Arjun Tamang (27) of Ramhiti, Bouddha-6.

The duo had attacked Sayaman Gurung (26) and Udayanath Tsering (20) with a khukuri yesterday.

Critically injured Tsering has been taken to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) for treatment while Gurung has already returned home after receiving treatment at the Kapan Hospital, police said.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
