KATHMANDU: Police recently arrested two persons on charge of robbery.

The suspects have been identified as Tsering Sherpa (26) of Beni-8, Solukhumbu and Nuri Sherpa (21) of Jantarpani, Okhaldhunga.

Police said that the duo, who came on a motorbike (Ba 52 Pa 7945), had robbed Phurba Sherpa (34) of Tatopani, Solukhumbu, currently residing at Ramhiti, Bouddha of Rs 100,000.

A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha nabbed them while they were fleeing the scence after robbing the cash.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
