KATHMANDU: Police said they recently rescued two persons who had fallen into an underground water tank in Mhepi of Kathmandu.

Gokul Maharjan(35) and Bishal Shrestha (27) of Gongabu had fallen into the tank while cleaning it at the premises of Maharjan's mother Urmila's house.

They are taken to Jana Maitri Hospital after being rescued with the help of locals.
