KATHMANDU: Two persons have been taken ill after consuming toxic mushroom in Budhanilkantha-7 of Kathmandu on Thursday.

Police said that Bimala Gurung (47) and Nirmala Gurung (30) of Liwang-7 of Rolpa had fallen sick after they ate curry of the wild mushroom brought from a nearby field yesterday.

Police said that they are receiving treatment at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
