3 dead in separate incidents

Kathmandu, August 23:

Altogether three persons died in different incidents in the past three days in the Kathmandu valley, police said.

At Bhimsengola, one Prakash Bhujel, 20, a resident of Dharan died when a tractor hit him this morning. Bhujel who was living at Shantinagar, died on the way to hospital, a police press statement said.

In another incident, a motorcyclist died last night when he hit a vehicle coming from the opposite direction at at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-14. The man died while undergoing treatment at the Thimi Maitri Hospital. The biker is yet to be identified, police said.

On Tuesday night, one-year-old Chhiring Sherpa died when he drowned in a plastic ware full of water, police said. Sherpa who was sleeping with his mother at night was found in a plastic ware full of water containing water on Wednesday morning. He died on the way to Om Hospital. Residents of Sindhupalchowk, the mother and the child were living in a rented room at Kathmandu Metropolitan City- 6, Mahankal. Police is investigating the case.
