KATHMANDU: Police said three persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in trading undeclared items at the Tribhuvan International Airport's parking area on Thursday.

The suspects have been identified as 45-year-old Laxmi Acharya of Khotang, 19-year-old Roshan Basnet of Jiri Municipality in Dolakha district and 27-year-old Raju Harijan of Baglung district.

According to police they were are apprehended while receiving items from Raju Harijan upon his arrival at TIA via Dubai Airlines from Dubai of UAE.

Police also seized a gold alike metal weighing 120 grams, 4 laptops, 6 I-phone, 2 mobile sets from their possession.

Meanwhile, police said they are looking into the case.
