KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested three persons with 120 gram undeclared gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The arrestees have been identified as Mohan Prasad Danai from Bansi-3 of Dhading, Om Bahadur Saru of Palpa and Tulasa Subedi of Ghatikhadga-2 of Dhankuta.

Danai and Saru had landed in Kathmandu from the United Arab Emirates before they were arrested.

They were arrested while Danai and Saru were handing over the precious yellow metal to Subedi at the parking area of the TIA.

Further investigation is underway.
