46 receive first aid treatment

KATHMANDU: Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Monday provided first-aid services to those injured in the protest organised by the Unified CPN-Maoist in various part of the Kathmandu Valley. Issuing here a joint press statement, they stated that the volunteers busied themselves throughout the day providing medical care to the wounded. The statement further mentioned that NRCS emergency response teams swiftly provided on-the-spot first aid services. A total of 46 injured persons received their first aid.
