47 fake Korean Language Test examinees arrested in valley

KATHMANDU: Metropolitan police on Saturday arrested 47 fake Korean Language Test examinees from seven exam centers in the Capital.

The arrestees were attending the examinations on behalf of other genuine examinees, said Spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Range Mohan Kumar Thapa.

Among them, 13 were held from the examination centre based in Xavier International School, Bauddha, one from Golden Gate International College, Battisputali, 11 from VS Niketan, Tinkune, five each from Nobel Academy, New Baneshwor and universal College, Maitidevi, four from Xavier International College, Kalopul and eight from Times International College, Dillibazar.

Meanwhile, police have detained the fake examinees and confiscated their passports and entrance papers for further investigation, said Spokesperson Thapa.
