KATHMANDU: A 60-year-old man doing his time at the Central Jail has died of asthma in course of treatment on Saturday.

Police said Krishna Prasad Marasini from Sandhikharka of Arghakhanchi was convicted of murder.

He was imprisoned on January 25, 2015 and was transferred to the Central Jail from the Arghakhanchi Prison on August 1.

He was sent to the Bir Hospital for treatment.
