BHAKTAPUR: A pedestrian was killed when a bus hit him at Shankhadhar Chowk, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-14 in Bhaktapur on Sunday.

The bus with registration number plate Ba 2 Kha 3074, heading to Kathmandu from Banepa, knocked down 78-year-old Devi Prasad Acharya of Balkot, Anantalingeshwar Municipality-14, police said.

Critically injured in the incident, Acharya was taken to the Madhyapur Hospital where he breathed his last.
